The project was initiated with researchers' needs in mind, drawing from the personal experiences of the founders, who possess hands-on experience working in research laboratories focused on experimental work in neurobiology, chemical biology, biophysics, molecular biology, and synthetic biology. We created a complementary team of ambitious individuals, enabling us to merge advanced AI technology insights with industry-specific knowledge to revolutionize the life science industry.
We started Syntro because we know that AI can help life scientists reduce the tedium of their work and assist biopharma companies in growing their businesses. The primary obstacle hindering research advancement at present is the lack of sufficient high-quality, well-annotated, consistent, and relevant data. Fortunately, the emergence of Large Language Models presents unprecedented opportunity to tackle systematic issues within this sector, giving hope for accelerating research processes and addressing its significant needs. Syntro creates unified repositories from diverse research data, integrating LLM-driven automation on top of them. Our mission is to enhance the efficiency and reproducibility of life science research.
