Kathryn is passionate about talent mobilization, driven by her personal journey. As an ethnic Korean born in China, raised in the US, and now residing in Germany, she experienced firsthand the challenges and opportunities of international transitions and deeply values the potential of a global workforce. For Kathryn, building solutions for international talent goes beyond simply filling roles—it's about unlocking growth and new possibilities through technology.
Volker, an Uber and Tesla alum, specializes in Growth and GTM Strategy. His experience includes launching new markets and products for B2C and B2B companies, from early-stage ventures to category leaders, as well as building high-performing teams in Sales, Marketing, and Operations. In recent years, Volker has gained valuable insights into the demand dynamics of European employers seeking skilled talent, which he now brings to Wandel’s mission to address the labor shortage.
Wandel, based in Berlin, is a B2B platform connecting German Mittelstand (aka SMB, small and medium-sized businesses) to international skilled workers in logistics and industrial sectors. Amid a critical labor shortage, Wandel leverages cutting-edge AI to streamline hiring, enabling companies to find the best matching talent faster. Our advanced tech builds digital profiles and matches talent to roles that fit their expertise.
